Karell O’Connor

Karell is an adventurer and free spirit who moved from the Philippines to Canada in 2019 as an international student. Her journey as an immigrant shaped her resilience and deepened her passion for community.

She has a deep love for nature, learning about different cultures, and experiencing new things.

Karell believes in learning from the people around her and giving back whenever she can. Having experienced the hardships of starting over, including unemployment, she understands the power of opportunity and support.

Today, she works at MCG Careers Inc. as a Job Developer, helping individuals find meaningful employment and build new beginnings. She is also a member of the Newcomer Advisory Council at Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership, where she shares her experiences to uplift and guide fellow immigrants as they navigate their own journeys.
