Pravija M. Prakash
My name is Pravija, and I am excited to be part of the Red Deer community. Originally
from the beautiful state of Kerala in southern India, I relocated to Canada two years ago,
first settling in British Columbia before moving to Red Deer with my partner a year ago.
This journey has been a thrilling new chapter in my life.
Currently, I work part-time at the Red Deer Polytechnic bookstore, where I enjoy the
vibrant atmosphere and interactions with students. While volunteering in Canada is a
new experience for me, I am eager to contribute to the community, drawing on my
previous volunteer experiences in Kerala.
In my free time, I love to be outdoors and engage in activities that bring me joy, such as
crafting, gardening, and watching movies. I find great happiness in surrounding myself
with people and being an active part of community life. Whether it’s exploring new places,
working on home projects, or simply spending time with others, I thrive on connecting
and contributing.
As I embark on this new journey, I am looking forward to getting involved in various
community initiatives and making meaningful contributions to Red Deer. I am
enthusiastic about connecting with others and finding new ways to support and enrich
our community.
